Linda Reeder has designed projects ranging in size from a
screened porch to a $54 million mixed use development. Her
architectural experience includes eight years at Roth and Moore
Architects in New Haven, where she was an Associate and Project
Architect. Linda is a LEED Accredited Professional in
sustainable design as certified by the U.S. Green Building
Council. She has a Master of Architecture degree from the Yale
School of Architecture and a B.A. from Oberlin College. She is
licensed in Connecticut and registered with the National Council
of Architectural Registration Boards.
Community and Professional Involvement
Linda Reeder is a lecturer in Central Connecticut State
University’s Construction Management program and has
taught in the Architecture Department at the University of
Hartford. She is editor of the American Institute of
Architects’ SPP Journal, an online journal for small
project practitioners. She is also a commissioner on the
New Haven Commission on Disabilities, a member of the
American Institute of Architects (AIA) Building
Performance and Regulations Committee and Committee on the
Environment (Connecticut chapters), and a member of the
Connecticut Green Building Council.
Consulting Services
In addition to serving private clients, from time to time
the firm also acts as a consultant to architectural firms
and other organizations, including the Connecticut Green
Building Council. The firm is certified by the State of
Connecticut as a Minority Business Enterprise. Linda
Reeder is the author of the book Guide to Green Building
Rating Systems and speaks about commercial and residential
building rating systems and sustainable design topics. |
